Evelyn Hernandez
Evelyn Gros Hernandez, 78 a native of Stevensville and resident of Mathews died on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel in Mathews, and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Saturday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. A mass will be held at the church at 11 a.m. with burial in St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years; Raymond "Creeper" Hernandez, Sr., son; Raymond Hernandez, Jr. and wife Brandy; daughters, Tina H. Dunn and husband Edwin "Buddy", Angela H. Louis and husband John; brothers; V.A. Gros, Junius Gros, sisters; Doris Bergeron, Gertrude Scully, Shirley Allemand, Anna Belle Miller, Linda Daigle, Patsy Blancaneaux, Lorraine Stott, Rita Autin, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded death by her parents; Oarlien and Bernice Chaisson Gros, brothers, Linberg Gros, Wilbert Gros, Sr., Daniel Gros, Lourie Gros, sister; Anna Mae Eymel.
