Betty Kenny
Betty Kenny, age 59, a resident of Houma and a native of New Orleans, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at Christ Missionary Baptist Church in Houma. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her two sons; Micheal Kenny and Aronderick Washington, two daughters; Tarra Mcguire and Tracey Kenny, four brothers; Micheal Smith, Ricky Smith, Larry Smith and Gregory (Sharon) Smith, six sisters; Bessie Clark, Brenda Washington, Rosemary Castle, Linda Brumfield, Gail Smith and Darlene Smith, 15 grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Earl and Bessie Kenny, Sr., two brothers; Earl Kenny, Jr., and Bertell Smith, and a sister, Dorothy Kenny.
She was a member of Christ Missionary Baptist Church Choir.
