Samuel Delatte
Samuel "Sam" Joseph Delatte, 76, a native of Choctaw, La. and a resident of Larose, died on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, and from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife; Ruby Dumond Delatte, son's; Guy Delatte and wife Amanda G. Delatte, Ricky Delatte and wife Anna Marie P. Delatte, sisters; Enola Griffin, Mabel Chouest, five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; George B. Delatte and Zulma Tabor Delatte, son; David Delatte, brothers; Claude, Cleore "Red", Horace Delatte, and sister; Corrine D. Dubois.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
