Leona LeBlanc
Leona Trosclair LeBlanc, 92, a native of Chackbay, and resident of Thibodaux, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012. She was born on Jan. 8, 1920.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the church with interment to follow in the church cemetery..
She is survived by daughters; Judy Schexnayder and husband, Johnny and Ethel Millet and husband, Ronald, sisters; Octavia Clement, Dolia Morvant, and Adele Braud; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Orvile Trosclair and Cecelia Trosclair, sisters; Odesa Morvant and Bridget Clement, brother; NorrisTrosclair, former husband; Adley LeBlanc, companion; Autry "Cookie" Boudreaux.
Landry's Funeral Home of Labadieville is in charge of arrangements.
