Rahoula Plant, Jr.
Rahoula Plant Jr., 78, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Port Allen, La., died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012.
A Visitation will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, at Morning Star Baptist Church (Brule Guillot Road) in Thibodaux. A Religious Service will be held 2 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church (Brule Road) in Thibodaux on Saturday. A burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his sister Audrey Robertson; stepbrother Gregory Walker, and stepsisters Betty (Harold) Russell, Lois Gordon.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rahoula Plant Sr. and Theola Young Gordon; stepbrothers Elray Walker and Albert Walker; sisters Leona Keys and Leola Hadley; stepsisters Ida Gordon and grandparents Prime Young Sr., Azlea Young, Leonce Plant Sr. and Vallene Plant.
He was a United States Air Force veteran.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
