Louise Johnson
Louise Pharagood Johnson, 80, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Houston, Texas, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012.
A Visitation will be held 9 a.m. on Saturday, at Morning Star Baptist Church (Brule Guillot Road) in Thibodaux. A Religious Service will be held 11 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church (Brule Guillot Road). Burial will follow in church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter Bridgette Kenard; son Baron Johnson; a brother Joseph Pharagood; four sisters Thelma Williams, Shirley Scott, Gloria Thomas and Marguerite Harrell; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Johnson; her parents Ernest Pharagood and Amy Pharagood; two brothers Lyndon Pharagood and Samuel Pharagood; five sisters Edwina Johnson, Everlina Moore, Ethel Pharagood, Rose Meads and Omegia Cole.
She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
