C.S. Armond
C.S. Armond, 98, a native of Lena, Miss. and resident of Thibodaux, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012.
A Visitation will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in New Orleans. A Religious Service will be held 11 a.m. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in New Orleans on Tuesday. A burial will follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale.
He is survived by his wife Irma P. Armond; daughters Maysonlean Patterson, Maggie Brouknight, Brenda (Melvin) Ballard, Mary Daniels and Martha Meggs; sons Lloyd (Cathy) Price and Robert Price; sisters Merthine Harvey and Addie Morgan; 19 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Daisy Armon; brother John Armon; and sisters Willie Mae Armon, Lessie Gilbert, Annie Lou Jones, Chestine Jackson and Bernice Jones.
He was Baptist. He was a United States Army veteran.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
