Douglas, 70, of Elizabeth, died on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 in Cabrini Grace Home of Alexandria.
Friends may call Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and then on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 from 9 a.m. until service time in the chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Rudolph Gordon and Reverend Randy Worrell officiating. Committal services will follow in the West Cemetery under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
He is survived by his two daughters, Julie (Randy) Gordon Worrell of Venice, Florida, Connie (Dwayne) Gordon Daigle of Lafayette; one son, Ashley Gordon of Nashville, Tennessee; two sisters, Marjorie (Wayne) Gordon Perkins and Genevieve (Kenneth) Gordon Richard all of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Heather Worrell, Tiffany Worrell, Seth Daigle, Nathan Daigle, Hannah Daigle, Jonathan Daigle, and Cade Gordon; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Thelma Ingalls Gordon; two brothers, Frank Arthur Gordon and Charles Edwin Gordon; and one sister, Evelyn Gordon Larance.
