Susana Lewis
Susana Harris Lewis, 89, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012.
A Wake Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church on Johnson Ridge on Wednesday. A Service Visitation will be held 9 a.m. on Thursday at Morning Star Baptist Church on Johnson Ridge. A Religious Service will be held 11 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church on Johnson Ridge on Thursday. Burial will follow in Blue Lily Cemetery.
She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, two God-children Oscar Moore and Brenda Woods; three stepchildren Inez Green, Leona Taylor and Chris Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her parents Aaron Sr. and Priscilla Harris, grandparents Esphriam Smith and Louis Smith, one son Eugene Every, four sisters Elizabeth Jackson, Louise Harris, Leona Harris, Priscilla Wagon, and Flora Moore; three brothers Willie Harris, Thomas Harris and Aaron Harris Jr.
She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
