Ruby Himel
Ruby Joseph Himel, 72, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, at 1 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, Houma. Burial will be in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elvige "Vige" Triche Himel; son, Reed Himel and his fiancée Amanda Bourgeois; three brothers, Raymond and wife Anna, Anthony and wife Shirley, Rickie and wife Bonnie; two sisters, Charlene Josey and husband Bobby, Betty Triche and husband Lloyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy J. and Ida R. Himel; two brothers, Herbert and Louis Himel.
He was a kind and loving man and will be sadly missed.
He was a parishioner and usher at St. Louis Catholic Church and a 4th degree Knight of Columbus.
