Lawrence Carter, Jr.

Lawrence Carter, Jr., 65, native of Paincourtville and a resident of Moss Point, Miss., died on Sept. 30, 2012

Visiting from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville. Visiting also from 8 a.m. to Religious Services at 10 a.m. Saturday at Virginia Baptist Church in Ewellville, La. Burial in the church cemetery.

He was survived by five sons, Leslie Carter, Terrance Carter, Darius Carter, Tristan Ratcliff, and Stephen Ratcliff; three brothers, Felton, Ferman, and Murphy Carter; two sisters, Edna Brown, and Joyce Carter; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Lawrence Carter, Sr. and seven brothers.

Arrangements by Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville.
