Cornelius Joseph, Sr.
Cornelius Joseph, 68, a resident of Gibson and a native of Vacherie, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at St. James Baptist Church in Gibson. Burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Louise H. Joseph; two sons, Henry Turner, Jr., and Cornelius Joseph, Jr; four daughters, Ursula Joseph, Telegia Joseph and Tracey Young; and Juakeda Young; three brothers, Hubert Joseph, Thomas Joseph, Jr., and Jiles Joseph; two sisters, Bertha Cage and Gail Noel; 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Thomas Joseph, Sr., and Elmer Moore Joseph; four brothers, Frank Joseph, Richard Joseph, Marcel Joseph and Wilton Joseph.
