Julie Ann Konieczka, 55, a native and resident of Houma, died at 12:32 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a private burial to be held at a later date.
She is survived by her sons, Justin Konieczka and wife, Laura, and their daughter, Devin Marie Konieczka, and Dustin Konieczka and wife, Jennifer Konieczka; brother, Enos Thibodeaux Jr. and wife Stacy; sisters, Fabian Whitney and husband, Gregory Sr., Darlene Thibodeaux, and Karen Cadiere and husband, Eugene; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Frank "Mickey" Konieczka; parents, Enos Sr. and Margie Pitre Thibodeaux; grandparents, Andrew and Edna Thibodeaux, and Louis and Emily Pitre; and sister, Bethany McNamara,
She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Society or the American Cancer Society.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
