Stephen John Rodrigue, 53, a native of Houma and resident of Kraemer, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2013.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Aimee Lirette Rodrigue, of Kraemer; sons, Wesley Rodrigue and fiancee, Ashley Collins, of Kraemer, and Stephen Rodrigue Jr.; stepdaughter, Felicia Bonvillain Burnley; grandson, Gage Rodrigue; granddaughter, Kylie Rodrigue; step-grandchildren, Ozzlyn Nicole Bonvillain, Cassie Burnley, Lance Burnley and Kayla Burnley; step-great-grandchild, Holden Philip Billiot Jr.; brothers, Dewey Joseph Rodrigue Jr. and wife, Yvonne, and Robert ""Bobby"" Rodrigue and wife, Debby; half brothers, Joe Rodrigue and Derrek Rodrigue; sister, Diana Marie Hebert and husband, Arthur ""Noonie"" Hebert; half sister, Rhonda Rodrigue Weiss; and nieces and nephews, Julio Antonio ""Poncho"" Arevalo, Kris Paul Gautreaux, Sarah Lynn Billiot, Karla Marie Hebert, Todd Rodrigue, Natalie Russo, Sharod Rodrigue, Stacy Pellegrin, Joey Rodrigue and Bobby Joe Rodrigue.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Neill Lirette; stepfather, Leo Paul ""Bobby"" Lirette; father, Dewey Joseph Rodrigue Sr.; and niece, Natasha ""Tasha"" Arevalo Billiot.
He was a tankerman, which gave him the opportunity to travel around the world. He was also a truck driver. He was a biker and a member of the Hog chapter. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and canoeing. He was a collector of stamps, coins, foreign money and bottles.
