Daniel Thibodaux, 80, a native and resident of Thibodaux passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. He was retired from Avondale Shipyard as a electrical shipfitter.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m., with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
He is survived by four daughters, Wanda A. Thibodaux, Yvonne A. Ordoyne, Myra Theriot and husband, Gustave "Buddy," and Daniela Thibodaux; siblings, Herman Thibodaux Sr. and Raymond Thibodaux; grandchildren, Jamie Gaspard, Daryl Thibodaux, Tammy Albarado, Dawn Torres, Vicky Ledet, Brandi Hanson, Christy Clement, Nicholas Thibodeaux, Brad Thibodeaux and Kirt Theriot; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Bergeron Thibodaux; parents, Edith Aupied and Eddie Thibodaux; siblings, Nolan "Billy" Thibodaux, Barbara T. Daigle and Joyce T. Daigle.
