Louis "Buddy" Joseph Kraemer, 74, of Vacherie, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Jacob Oubre, Colby, Hunter, Seth, and Andrew Kraemer, Sammy Hymel and grandson-in-law, Aaron Guitreau.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth Folse Kraemer; mother, Mable Rodrigue Fank; children and their spouses, Melissa and Mark Hymel, of New Roads, Patricia and Albert Falgoust, Michael and Annette Kraemer, James and Lorna Kraemer, Edward and Jenny Kraemer, and Susan and Ryan Oubre, all of Vacherie; grandchildren, Nicole and husband, Aaron Guitreau, Jacob, Isabella, and MaryBeth Oubre, Cari, Colby, Hunter, Seth, Andrew, and Sophie Kraemer, and Elizabeth and Sammy Hymel; and sister, Verina Kraemer Bourg.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur V. Kraemer; beloved grandson, Blake Ryan Oubre; brother, Lawrence Kraemer; and step-father, Joseph Fank Jr.
