Warren C. Clausen, 63, a native and resident of Thibodaux, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Cyndy Berthelot Clausen; mother, Dorothy Matirne Clausen; brothers, Marc and wife, Debbie, and Brian Clausen and wife, Mary; sisters, Karen Becnel and husband, Donald, and Lori Duet and husband, Scott; mother-in-law, Girlie B. Berthelot; sister-in-law, Sylvia Guillory and husband, Peter; uncle, Charles Matirne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warren J. Clausen; and father-in-law, Louis Berthelot.
Warren was the owner and chef of C and C Catering. He also was a lifetime sponsor of Ducks Unlimited, a member and past king of the Krewe of Adonis, a member of the Cajun Corvette Club, a charter member of St. John Volunteer Fire Department, and he was selected as one of the best chefs of Louisiana in 2013.
