William Fredrick "Fred" Harlow, 62, a native of Pontotoc, Mississippi, and resident of Houma, died Saturday, June 28, 2014.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Unity Lodge Post No. 267 at 1029 Bayou Black Drive in Houma. A Masonic memorial will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Joan Bergeron Harlow; daughters, Leslie and Kellie Valure, of Houma, Amanda Harlow, and Amber Harlow Smith and husband, James of, Pontotoc, Mississippi; grandsons, Jaiden Valure, of Houma, Kobe Harlow and Brantley Smith, of Pontotoc, Mississippi; and granddaughter, Ja'Niyah Harlow, of Pontotoc, Mississippi; brother, Eddie Harlow and wife, Debbie, of Pontotoc, Mississippi; and sisters, Betty Malone and husband, Bill, of Tupelo, Mississippi, Margaret Wiginton and husband, Bob, of Baldwin, Mississippi, Martha Bush and husband, Bill, of Mantachie, Mississippi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Harlow Sr. and Opan Swindle Harlow; and brother, Carl Harlow Jr.
William was a member of Unity Lodge No. 267, member of the Easter Star, member of Houma Shrine and Jerusalem Shrine, Captain of the Houma Clown Unit, member of Jerusalem Shrine Transportation, and member of Bent Cypress Hunting Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
