Kenneth "Kenny" Lee Ragsdale Jr., 55, born Jan. 12, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, and a resident of Houma since 1972, passed away at his home Saturday, July 12, 2014.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Regina "Gina" Voisin Ragsdale; parents, Kenneth "Sonny" Lee Ragsdale Sr. and Patricia "Pat" Nueling Ragsdale; mother-in-law, Pansy Voisin; son, Kenneth Lee Ragsdale III and wife, Stevie; grandchildren, Destiny Lee Ragsdale, Janea Wright and husband, Jeremy, and Rachael Seaman and husband, Chad; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Zoi Wright, and Konnor Seaman; niece, Heather Bascle and husband, John; six brothers and sisters-in-law, and spouses; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and many family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lora Lee Ragsdale Marks in 1995; father-in–law, Elward "Chup" Voisin in 2005; son, Cory Lee Ragsdale in 2003; and sister-in-law, Sonya Clair Voisin Steger in 2011.
Kenny worked in the oil and gas industry as an offshore employee until becoming co-owner with his parents of Eastway Seafood West, Inc. in Houma from 1983 until 2010. Since then he had been a valued employee of Fon's Pest Control.
