Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Duplantis Lottinger; children, Robert Lottinger III and wife, Angie, Dawn Lottinger Bowen and husband, Michael, Trey Lottinger and wife, Ginny, Barry Martin and wife, Claire, Pam Stringer and husband, Bart, and Missy Sevin and husband, Earl; brothers, Richard Lottinger and wife, Charlene, and David Lottinger and wife, Michele; sister, Catherine Lottinger, a School Sister of Notre Dame; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, JoAnn Bertucci Lottinger; father, Judge Robert Lottinger; mother, Frances Naquin Lottinger; and brother, John F. Lottinger.
Robert was a gourmet chef who enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends. He was an avid LSU and Saints fan, and loved the King of Rock and Roll–Elvis Presley. He was a person who never met a stranger. He Loved God, his family and church.
The family would like to thank Bayou Home Care, Southern Care Hospice, and his many sitters who cared for him during his illness, and all the special friends we made at AMG. The family also appreciates the support given by Father Carl Collins during his last days.
