William "Joey" Joseph Thibodaux, 47, a native and resident of Houma, died at 12:55 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
He is survived by his father, Ambrose A. Thibodaux and wife, Rita Jan ; daughter, Shane' Elizabeth; brother, Willard "Will" R. Thibodaux; sister, Amanda Thibodaux Guerrero and husband, Mickey; two nephews and a niece, Justin, Andres' and Alison Guerrero; and his best friend, Herbert Fitch Jr.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patrica "Patsy" Parker Thibodaux.
William was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was an Eagle Scout and loved the outdoors.
