Phyllis Thibodeaux Obituary
Phyllis Prosperie Thibodeaux, 89, a native of Montegut and resident of Houma, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time today at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn J. Thibodeaux and wife, Olga, Curtis J. Thibodeaux and wife, Wanda, and Stephen P. Thibodeaux and wife, Annie; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Miguel Prosperie; and sister, Rosemary Chaisson.
She was preceded in death by her, husband, Fred Thibodeaux; son, Dale C. Thibodeaux; parents, Miguel Prosperie and Lydia McElroy Prosperie; one great-grandchild; brother, Roy Prosperie; and sister, Ruth Ruiz.
She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
