Loretta "To-To" Picou Champagne, 85, a native of Chauvin, and resident of Houma, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Danny "Shomp" P. Champagne and wife, Nancy, Carroll "Shomp" J. champagne and wife, Mary, and Marla Champagne Lapeyrouse and husband, Everette; grandchildren, Timothy "Tim" Champagne, Tobbie Jill Champagne, Ryan Champagne, Joey Champagne, Ross Everette Lapeyrouse, Macel Lapeyrouse Sprehe and Cory Champagne; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchhildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray J. Champagne; parents, Franklin J. Picou and Melizia Marie Henry Picou; brothers, Elies, Clarence, Lawrence and Frank Picou; sisters, Alice Picou Usie, Louise Picou Lapeyrouse and Stella Picou; and great-grandchild, Christina Champagne.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and volunteered for her church and community.
She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
