Filled with a competitive spirit and a giving heart, Ross enmeshed himself in every activity and cause in which he took part. As an accounting major at Nicholls State University, Ross served as a senator on student government, and ran on the men's cross country team, earning academic all-conference each year he competed. He was also a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and served as an orientation team leader. Ross was a 2009 graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School where he earned male athlete of the year, was a state champion swimmer, an All-State cross country runner, president of the Key Club and a Wendy's Heisman recipient.
As he bravely fought his own battle with cancer, Ross looked for ways to help others with similar struggles. This led to him founding the Ross Mullooly Project, a non-profit organization benefiting the Patrick Taylor
and providing a variety of supports for cancer patients and their families.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and tremendous support from the community.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be sent to the Patrick Taylor
