For the past yr i have spent a minimum of 6 hrs a day on the ph with my dad just talking about sweet little nothings and even just listening to each other breath. When i told him i bought a food stand to haul seafood to west Texas it brought new life to his soul. We talked day end and day out about the same things over and over. As we formed the plan for him to find and haul shrimp to me his spirit began to shine again like it did when i was a child shrimping with him on the boats. I want all family and friends to know that My daddy went to be with the lord AND HE WAS HAPPY WHEN HE WENT. He loved to cook and LOVED SEAFOOD AND ALL CAJUN HERITAGE. So me being able to give him one last chance to enjoy what he enjoyed the most is the greatest blessing God could have given him and i both. He spent his last days touring west Tx amazed at the drilling rigs he could look out and count and the new wind turbins blew him away HE WAS SO AMAZED we held hands in my truck and just drove our hearts out and i NEVER KNEW HIM TO BE HAPPIER. His final words of wisdom to me was "TO ALWAYS TAKE A TIME OUT LIKE LITTLE KIDS DO" "TO PRAY AND GOD IS WITH ME NO MATTER WHAT IM FACING" AND "TO REMEMBER THAT DADDY ALWAYS LOVES YOU" he was so proud of me for my seafood adventure so my restaurant will go on in west texas DEDICATED TO THE MAN WHO LITTERALLY GAVE HIS LIFE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!
