Jerry Joseph Ordoyne, 78, a lifelong resident and native of Thibodaux, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at University Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Kay Blanke Ordoyne; children, Rodney Dean Ordoyne and Charlette O. Marcel; grandchildren, Victoria, Jessica and Joshua Marcel, and Clint Ordoyne; brothers, Paul, Clay and Henry Ordoyne; and sisters, Doris Samanie, Nellie Benoit and Theresa Guidry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Zulma and Olivier Ordoyne; brother, Francis Ordoyne; and sister, Betty Briehn,
He retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service. He was also a member of the Thibodaux chapter of the VFW.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Thibodaux General Home Health and St. Joseph Hospice, for all the care, love and support in their time of need.
