Heath Tatum, 38, a native of Houma and resident of Brookhaven, Miss., passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2013.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Alena Tatum; son, Rowdy Luke Tatum; daughters, Chelsea Renee Tatum and her mother, Mandy Triche, Victoria Elizabeth Eve Tatum and Daisy Lyn Tatum; brothers, Tommy Tatum and wife, Dawn, and Pete Tatum and wife, Shelly; stepbrother, Matthew Singletary; sister, Lori Tatum Pennison and husband, Barry; stepsister, Kimberly Singletary; stepmom, Emy Tatum; nephews, P.J. Dylan, Michael, Ryan, Coby, Chance, Cody, Joshua, Damien, Drew, Ian and Ethan; and nieces, Kamie, Lindsey, Michaela, Blair and Jade.
He was preceded in death by his father, Luke ""Pete"" Alvie Tatum; mother, Deloris ""Dee"" Tatum; and sister, Dori Lyn Tatum.
He loved spending time with family, riding his brother's motorcycle, his Peterbilt big rigs, and working out.
He enjoyed bass fishing and being right. He was a loving husband and father who will be missed by all who knew him.
