The measure of a man is not "How did he die" but - "How did he live" Not "What did he gain" but - "What did he give". This was affirmed by the wonderful son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend Chad was to you all. My heart breaks for your family. Chad was a great person and will live on in your memories forever!

Chad, this week has been one of many thoughts of good times we had together in the 331st, particularly the times out on your boat. I am thankful for your service to our country, but most of all thankful for your friendship, guidance and loyalty. Always welcomed and appreciated were your good humor, laughter, seriousness and leadership, especially during the many meetings we shared together. I appreciated your generosity; friendship and patience while helping me adjust to my new position with the Warriors. You always put family first, and this included those you supervised. Kathy and I enjoyed our time with you, Nikki, and your family and felt blessed to be welcomed into your home and hearts… you truly will be missed.

Although I was never assigned and worked directly with Chad, our Air Force Recruiting career paths and travel often crossed and the times we attended the same training or recruiting conferences together and got to hang out, Chad always struck me as a person of solid character, high intelligence, and a wry, but centered, sense of humor. Chad's dedication and expertise to his craft and profession made him someone you wanted in your corner for advise, guidance, and mentorship. This great American will be sorely missed. Condolences and peace to his spouse, children and family.

Mr Mike, Mrs Kity & Fly, I'm so sorry for your loss. It has been many years since I've seen Chad. He was a great friend when we were going up together...hunting, fishing, playing ball. Always the life of the party, always there to lend a hand. Though I never had the pleasure of meeting his wife and kids, I'm sure they were proud of him. It has been a privilge to say I knew him with all that he has done through serving our country and raising a family. God bless, you all will be in our prayers.

I was fortunate to have met Chad in my time in Air Force Recruiting. Chad's first assignment in recruiting was to the Gloversville, NY office. I had recentle been reassigned to a new office in Rome NY.
Chad's charming personality, had work, and dedication turned this office into one of the most successful in the squadron.
My time to know Chad was not long, but I can say without reservation, I have fond memories to keep. Rest in peace Chad, we will meet again.

Chad, I always hoped we'd end up as neighbors again somewhere down the road and pick up where we left off. There are so many things I wish I'd told you. I loved that you proudly served in the Air Force. I loved that you could fix anything around your house and mine. I loved that you wore your Atlanta Braves hat whether we saw you in Tyler, Panama City or Warner Robbins! I loved that you were from New Orleans, had an accent and could cook Cajun food. I loved that you taught me colorful expressions like "You ain't gotta go home, you just can't stay here" and "Her best friend is distance, and a whole lot of it!" I loved that we would grab a beer out front, tell stories and solve the world's problems! I loved that you were a proud father of three! I loved that no matter where you and Nikki moved to or Stacy and I moved to, you always reached out to stay in touch! Most of all, I loved that you were my friend! I will miss you, brother! May God rest your soul! Nikki, Jacob, Meghan and Morgan, my heart is broken for you! I am deeply sorry for the loss of your husband and father, and you will forever be in my thoughts and prayers!
