Clinton "Ed" Sanders, 93, a native of Carthage, Miss., and resident of Galliano, since 1954, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Military honors will be given at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Jerry Sanders, Janet Ziegler, and Richard Sanders and wife, Nora; grandchildren, Chad, Erica, Annette, Donice, Lacey, Desi, Crystal, and Megan; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Morgan, Rachel, Nicole, Landon, and Reese; and great-great-grandchild, Addison.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Vivian M. Sanders; parents, Offa and Edna G. Sanders; daughter, Vivian Castle and husband, Westley; and brothers, Hayward, Otto, John Obie, Gladden, Roger, and Herman.
Clinton was an avid fisherman and hunter, and was the owner and operator of Sanders Radiator in Galliano. He was a member of the American Legion and a U.S. Army veteran of the Pacific Campaign in World War II.
