Curtis Luke Himel Obituary

Curtis Luke Himel, 91, a native and resident of Labadieville, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015.
Visitation will be from 8-11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct.21, 2015, at St. Philomena Church, Labadieville. Prayer services will be held at 11 a.m., followed by burial in the church cemetery.
He was the husband of Rosalie Daigle Himel; father of Craig Himel, Phillip Himel, Cathy Boudreaux, and Phyllis Richard; father-in-law of Joan Himel, Ruben Boudreaux, Ward Richard and Sharon Jones; and brother-in-law of George Satterlee, Daniel and Annie Daigle and Marion Daigle.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, April, Anthony, Christine, Rebekah, and Phillip Himel, Ben and Emily Boudreaux and Megan Bourg; step-grandchildren, John and Joshua Blanchard; great-granddaughter Khloe Bourgeois; and step-great-granddaughter, Lydia Blanchard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie D. Himel; parents, Luke and Jeanne Portier Himel; sister, Vivian Himel Satterlee; and grandchild, Abigail Himel.
Thibodaux Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
