Richard De Leon
Araujo, In loving memory of Richard De Leon Araujo, who passed away at the age of 63 on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. He was preceded by his Wife, Olivia Araujo, and is survived by his Sons, Stephen & Tommy, and Daughter, Alice; his Sisters, Rosie and Herlinda; Nephews and Nieces, Noe, Angie, Rhonda, Carol, Conrad, Mateo and Patty; 8 loving grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; as well as many loved great nieces and nephews and a world of friends. He served his country honorably for 6 years in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served in Vietnam and was stationed in Hawaii and San Diego. He was honorably discharged from service with the rank of Corporal in 1977.
Visitations will be held at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home on Canal St. on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM, with Rosary Services at 7:00 PM. Final visitations to begin at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 9:00 AM and will be laid to rest at the Houston National Cemetery with full military honors at 10:30 AM.
