I am so saddened to have recently learned of Ms. Getty's passing. She was my TA for a couple of Spanish courses at UT Austin in the late '60s, and I rate her as one of my favorite instructors during that time. Her cheeriness, sense of humor, professionalism, and devotion to her students was evident from the first day of class to the end of the semester. That was long ago, but I am sure that she touched many other lives in similar ways.

I am guessing that the cute dog in the picture is your beloved Tequila. I will never forget how heartbroken you were to lose him. Hope he met you at the bridge. You will be missed.

What a shock this is! Gone too soon. I remember Karen from Vinson & Elkins, having worked in Rush Record's section where she was a paralegal. Rest in Peace, Karen.
