It's February again, time for pitchers and catchers to report for spring training soon to be followed by the rest of the team. It's these simple things that I enjoy seeing and reading about, as did you my friend. I miss you at the courthouse, I miss running into you at Astros games. I think if things were different we would have eventually at least shared "seasons tickets" ! You knew as well as I do it's pretty impossible to go to EVERY game. Although we'd want to!! Your memory is a fond one, you are not forgotten. I am reminded of my own mortality these days, please look over me and "do what you can".

It's so hard to believe it's been nearly 4 years now. An entry today reminded me of you Diana so I took some time out to make yet another special prayer for you. I think of you often, especially when the Astros are on TV or when I go to a game. We had more in common than just as peers. You are missed.

I was recently informed of Diana's death and while I knew her only briefly while she served as an ADA in Cameron County I remember our time together very fondly. She was truly a special person and I will always regret not keeping more in touch over the years. Rest in peace. Love those nearest to you without regret.

Prayers for peace and strength for Diana's family and friends who will all miss her. Although we lost touch some time at A&M, Diana often came and still comes to mind when I need strength: memories of her determination from running track races with her in Middle school, memories of her mock trials in History class, memories of fun and laughter throughout high school, too. Her spirit touched many and will live through memories of her.
