Edward Bannon Obituary

Edward A Bannon Jr., 82, of Houston passed away January 21, 2011.
He was born August 15, 1928 in Winthrop, Massachusetts and moved to Houston in 1999 to be closer to family. Eddie served in the Navy and was employed with Exxon most of his working career. Eddie and his wife enjoyed many years of working overseas and traveling around the world.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joanne Bannon; daughter Carole Miller and her husband Hal; sister Betty Hickey of Clearwater, Florida; granddaughter Lori Miller; great-granddaughters Shelby, Hope and Madison all of Houston; great-grandson Cain and his mother Robin Miller of Bryan,Texas;and numerous nieces and nephews. Eddie was preceded in death by his grandson Ward Miller.
He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Contributions to support Vitas Hospice at Memorial City, in memory of Edward Bannon, can be sent to Vitas Hospice Care, 921 Gessner, East Tower, 8th Floor, Houston, TX 77024.
