Rose Pardue Obituary

Pardue
Rose Nanette Mallett Pardue, 77, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm, Saturday, February 12th, at New Life Lutheran Church, 3521 East Orange Street in Pearland (281.485.1818) with Rev. Brian K. Gigee officiating. Graveside services will be private.
Rose was born May 23, 1933, in Galveston, TX. She grew up on the island, attending Ball High School and First Lutheran Church. Rose married Hubert Pardue in 1952 and they moved to the Houston area to raise their family. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church of Houston for over 40 years and most recently was a member of New Life Lutheran Church of Pearland.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bernice Mallett; and her daughter, Valarie K. Pardue.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Hubert Pardue, of Houston; daughters, Brenda Pardue of Laredo, TX; and Janet Brown of La Porte, TX; son, Kenneth Wheatcroft-Pardue and wife, Marianne, of Fort Worth; grandchildren: William Brown, Amber Allgeier, Emma Wheatcroft-Pardue, and Chad Allgeier; brother, Odie Mallett and wife, Gerry, of Kemah, TX; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Rose's family wishes to extend special thanks to American Hospice for their compassionate care for the last 18 months.
