Arnal Bruce Foreman Jr.

ARNAL BRUCE FOREMAN, JR., was born January 9, 1923, in Orange, Texas, and passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014. His early years were spent in Hull Daisetta, where his father worked in the oil drilling industry. The family moved to Houston, where Bruce graduated from Austin High School, and attended the University of Houston. He enlisted in the Army during WW II, and served for 3 years. While in the service, Bruce met and married his wife of seventy years, Marianna "Ann" Slinsky Foreman. Bruce's working years were spent in the oil service industry, until his retirement from Bowen Tools. His large circle of friends included many of his former co-workers. He was a member of Quail Valley Country Club and spent much of his spare time enjoying golf with friends. Bruce was a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and Quail Valley Crime Watch. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnal Bruce and Vera Johnson Foreman; and brother, Gene Norman Foreman. Bruce is survived by his wife, Ann; and son, Bruce Andrew Foreman; cousin, Gary Looney and family; and an extended family of aunts and uncles from his grandfather's second family. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Thursday, March 27, 2014, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit). Interment will immediately follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, in Houston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce's name may to be to the .
