We were sadden to hear of the passing of our good friend Bill. After all, it was only days before Russ visited and listened to his jokes and stories. We are thankful to have had a friendship for over 20 years. Our prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be missed by all,

Farewell my friend, Billy Don Jackson. I was shocked and deeply saddened today when I learned of your passing and I know that you are in the arms of God and His Son, Jesus Christ at the moment of your passing. My first job, in May 1966, was working along side of you at the Houston office of the CPA firm,Haskins and Sells. I was blessed to be your friend these past 47 years and will forever miss you. I know your clients will be lost without your professional guidance and will miss your friendship greatly. You are loved by so many people. I will miss our visits together, at all those continuing education classes for so many years, particularly your saving me a chair next to you so I could come in a bit tardy! I will miss all the laughs and your great humor. You are always a kind, loving and generous man. My prayers are for you and your family in their time of sadness and loss.I will be looking forward to seeing you again, in due time, my friend. Just wish we had been able to say goodby. Rest in Peace, Billy Don!

Mr. Jackson, I went looking for you this week and even dropped you a note in your door mail slot. Then Miss Kaye told me that you had left us just a few days before. I will miss you and your kind nature. It was nice to have known you and I pray that your soul is at rest and that the Lord embraced you as soon as you departed from our presence.
Your friend,
Penny

Sorry for your loss. This may be one of the hardest things any of us will ever have to cope with. "God is near to all those calling upon him...." (Psalm 145:18)
