Charles B. Ingram went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 17, 2014, and was laid to rest on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
He was preceded by the love of his life, Faye Ingram, and was survived by his four loving daughters, Coleen Ingram of Bryan, Texas; Rebecca Ingram Walpole of Peoria, Arizona; Deborah Ingram Hopkins of the Woodlands, Texas, and Penny Ingram of Katy, Texas, four grandchildren, Bryan Spiers, Silas Rushton, Laura Walpole, Charles Walpole, and five great grandchildren.
Charles was a dedicated Christian who loved the Lord who served the Lord in many capacities serving as a Deacon at First Baptist in Houston. He also served on the Chairman's Board of the 700 Club and was involved in many ministries across the globe.
One of Charles' proudest achievements was to serve in the US Army Air Corps during the liberation of France in WWII
. He went on to pursue a Masters in Theology and then attended and graduated from Texas Tech.
Charles pursued a career in the oil industry and eventually retired as President of Baker Oil Tools and Group President of Baker Hughes. He had many achievements and touched many lives through his love and generosity and he leaves behind a family who loves him and we are looking forward to seeing him in Heaven someday!
