Cliff Adams
Thomas Clifton "Cliff" Adams was born on March 31, 1927 in McMahan Texas to Earl and Myrtle (Baker) Adams. Upon graduation from Lockhart High School he immediately began studies at Texas A&M, College Station. After several months at A&M, Cliff took a hiatus from his studies to join the war (World War II) effort by volunteering for the US Navy.
After completing his Navy service, Cliff returned to Texas A&M where he graduated, in 1948, with an accounting degree. Shortly thereafter, Cliff was invited to join the T.W. Mohle accounting firm in Houston, Texas. Cliff worked as a CPA for this this firm, currently Mohle, Adams, for over fifty years.
In 1953 Cliff's life changed forever when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord, and gained assurance of his eternal future in heaven.
On November 21, 1959 Cliff married Flora (Frazer) with whom he enjoyed 54 loving years. He spent many years as an active and loving father who enjoyed involvement in his kids' sports activities, and taking his family on summer vacations. Friends, children, grandchildren, and many faith organizations were continually blessed by his faithful, joyful, giving.
Cliff is preceded in death by his brother Garth Adams and his sister, Earline Adams Vogt.
Cliff is survived by his wife, Flora, and four children: Melissa (Felix) Torres of Corpus Christi, Rachel (Kevin) Templin of Houston, Stephen (Laura) Adams of Houston, and David Earl (Mindi) Adams of Austin. He is survived by twelve grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, June 27th at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 28th at 10:00am at Bethel Church 825 Bering Drive Houston Texas 77057.
