Edward Bradley

EDWARD BERNARD BRADLEY JR. 86 years of age, of Friendswood, Texas, passed away on February 19, 2013. After serving in the Navy during WW II, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering at the Drexel Institute in Philadelphia. Ed started his 40-year career with Atlantic Richfield in petrochemical refining. He moved his family to Houston Texas in 1968 with a division of ARCO, Oxirane Chemical. Ed's career transported him internationally to Holland and France and eventually bringing him back to the US, retiring at first in Hilton Head, South Carolina and then Friendswood, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Bradley, stepson Bobby Mertel and wife, Sandy, all of Friendswood, Texas; and step daughter Pam Solzbach and husband Roger of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He is also survived by his son, Richard E. Bradley and wife Connie of Orlando, Florida; daughter Susan E. Bradley and husband Ronnie Powers of Elm Grove, Louisiana; and daughter, Arlene Bradley Fisher and husband Matt Fisher of San Antonio, Texas.
Ed has 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Bradshaw Bradley of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; parents, Edward Bradley Senior and Effie Bradley, of Philadelphia; and brother, Louis Bradley of Bracy, Virginia.
