Eric Knepper

Eric Travis Knepper was born on the 29th of September 1993 in Houston, to James A. and Susan B. Knepper. He passed away on Thursday, the 13th of February 2014 in Texas Children's Hospital at the age of 20, after a life long battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Eric began school at Project Tykes, where they fostered his physical and cognitive development. He later attended Edna Mae Fielder Elementary School and Cinco Ranch Junior High School before graduating from Cinco Ranch High School in January of 2013. Throughout his life, Eric attended many Muscular Dystrophy volunteer events and their annual summer camps. Eric enjoyed making his family laugh with his dry wit, caring for his pets and playing video games.
Eric is survived by his parents, James and Susan Knepper; his sister, Lindsey Knepper; his grandmother, Betty C. Knepper; his aunt and uncle, Lawrence and Kathryn Coffey; his aunt and uncle, John and Sylvia Bokich; his aunt and uncle, Anthony and Theresa Bokich; his aunt, Anna Bokich; his uncle, Steven Bokich; and his cousins, Ivy, Chester, Andrea, Conrad and Steven. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Knepper, Barbara Bokich and Chester Bokich.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from one until two o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 17th of February, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where the funeral service will commence at two o'clock.
