Many from Bellaire United Methodist Church remember Rev. Marsh and how he helped found our church in 1948 with the moving in of an old Navy building to use for worship. We were blessed by his presence here during our formation as a congregation with Rev. Marsh as our founding pastor. Our sympathy to his family. David Martin, Bellaire UMC Lay Leader.

My deepest sympathies to the family. Fred was my minister when I was in high school and college in Tyler and then my minister again when I joined First Methodist after college. He was such a fine man who lived a long and fulfilling life. He will be missed by those who love him.

Your father performed our wedding ceremony in 1963 at First Methodist in Houston. He visited with us several times in our home. A true man of God. You are in my prayers.

What a precious heart and soul has left this world and entered into Heaven. He and my dad, who is in heaven, loved one another and worked
to help many people - especially the youth.
