Gene Chase(1929 - 2013)

Lance Eugene Chase "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me" Psalm 23:4.
Lance Eugene (Gene) Chase left this earth Sunday, December 1, 2013 to join his Heavenly Father. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him; his two daughters, Sandra Chase and Janet O'Leary, his son in law, Jim O'Leary, his grandchildren, James O'Leary, Jr and wife, Jennifer and Jennifer Tolbert and husband, Dusty and his 8 beautiful great grandchildren.
Gene was born in San Benito Texas on July 26, 1929, in the midst of the Great Depression. He was a member of the fightin' Texas Aggie class of 1950 and began an Aggie tradition in the family that will forever burn.
Gene proudly served in the Korean War. He raised his family in southwest Houston as a credit manager for USS Agrichem and spent many years serving others: his family, his community and his church. He was a gentle and kind man and will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.
Gene's ashes will be spread in Aggieland with the ashes of his beloved wife, Brownie in a private family ceremony.
