Ivor Evans

Ivor Evans, beloved husband and father, passed away Sunday morning November 17, 2013 of congestive heart failure and acute respiratory failure. He was born in Canton, Ohio on January 27, 1925 to Ivor and Bertha Evans. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1942 and worked as a Radioman, 3rd class, on the USS Hector in the Pacific theater. He was honorably discharged in 1944 after being seriously injured. He was a proud WWII veteran. He married Jeanette Rae Krannich on June 16, 1957. They shared 56 blessed years together. He worked as a Computer Repair Depot Manager at Raytheon and Memorex-Telex until he retired in 1989. He then worked part-time to keep himself busy, the last employer being Target. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Bill, Ardel and Richard. He is survived by his wife Jeanette, his daughter Cynthia and his siblings: Helen, Kenny, Chuck, Jim and Jerry. His wishes were to be cremated with no services. His heart may have stopped, but his spirit and memory lives on in our hearts forever!!
