James A. Ruppert

James A. Ruppert ,62, of Friendswood, Texas passes away November 22, 2012 in Webster, Texas.
He was born August 10, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to John and Olis Ruppert. James proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corp and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Vets. James was employed by City Masonry as a Bricklayer Foreman. James and his wife Karon have lived in Friendswood since 1992.
James is preceded in death by his father; John H. Ruppert.
James leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Karon R. Ruppert; mother Olis Ruppert; daughters Brandy Ruppert and Mellisa Mendez; son Jason Ruppert; stepsons Eldon Harris and Conrad Harris; sister Judy McComas and her husband Chuck; brothers George Ruppert and his wife Terra, Johnny Ruppert; grandchildren Marcus, Karlie, Ralie, Claira, Seth, and Wade; great grandchildren Virginia and Alyssa.
Visitation will be held Thursday November 29, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. Funeral Services will be Friday November 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Crowder Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Cole officiating. Graveside Services will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas. Pallbearers will be Eldon Harris, Wade Harris, Marcus Villareal, Jason Ruppert, I.J. Danley and Johnny Ruppert. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in James name to The Vietnam Veterans or the Disabled Veterans.
