Marvin Meloy

Marvin Willard Melloy was born in Des Moines, Iowa August 13, 1932. He is survived by his wife, Donna Meloy, four children, Rick Meloy, Debbie Wilhite, Sally Clesi, and Laura Christenson, fourtteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at Christus Victor Lutheran Church in League City on Tuesday, October 8th at 10 am.
He was an elementary school teacher and a principal in Iowa. He went on to become the credit manager of the largest department store in Iowa called Younkers and then moved to Houston and became the credit manager of Craig's/Everett Beulow stores, and Joskes. Finally he taught for a while at the Texas School of Business and worked at Randall's grocery store.
