Michael Proctor

Michael Rene Proctor born 11/10/91 to Alvin L and Stephena Proctor in Houston. Michael passed on 10/21/12 in Groton, CT. Michael grew up in Pearland and graduated from Dawson High in 2010. At Dawson, he played Defensive Tackle for the 2010 Regional Semi-Finalist Eagles football team. He also won several gold medals as the "Hurdle King" during track season. After high school graduation, Michael entered the US Navy and was awarded an $80,000 scholarship. During his tenure in the US Navy, he received the Submarine Warfare Insignia pin.Michael was also a member of Kingdom of Grace Ministries where his father pastors. Whenever he was home from leave, he made it a point to visit his KGM family. Michael is survived by his father and mother, Alvin L and Stephena Proctor; brothers Gabriel (Michael's twin), Alvin Jamaal (Keiria) and Johnathan; sisters Becky (Larry) and Tiffany; nieces Jazmine, Zhion and Brooke; nephews Larry III, Jamison, Chase, Christian and Ryan all of Houston and Pearland. Michael is also survived by grandparents, Allen and Hattie Richard of Houston and Clara Butler of St. Martinville, LA as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
