Paul Hardwick

Paul Moore Hardwick, Jr. of Horseshoe Bay, TX was called home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the age of 83. He was born on April 8, 1929 in Lubbock, TX to the late Paul Moore and Ida Mae (Dunwoody) Hardwick. He was predeceased by his brother Charles Hardwick and his wife Sue.
Paul served his country as a U.S. Navy pilot during the Korean War, then after graduating from the University of Texas with a BS degree he pursued a lifelong career as a geologist. Paul and his wife Patsy loved travel, cooking, opera, golf, and good friends.
He is survived by his wife Patsy Ruth (Cox) Hardwick; his son Michael Stuart Hardwick and his wife Terry of Canyon Lake, TX; his son Mark Paul Hardwick of Midland, TX; his son Patrick Cox Hardwick and his wife Roxanne of The Woodlands, TX; his son Paul Aaron Hardwick and his wife Laurie of Houston, TX; and his son Charles Frank Hardwick and his wife Stephanie of The Woodlands, TX. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Remembrance Gardens in Austin, TX at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2013. The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a in Paul's name.
