Robert Eliason

Robert Eric (Bob) Eliason of Pearland, Texas, died Sunday, December 1, 2013. As a husband, brother, father and grandfather, he loved his family. He adored watching TV - football, boxing, and westerns, followed closely by love of eating - shrimp, hamburgers, and Christmas Brunch, in that order.
Bob was born in Delray Beach, Florida, on January 18, 1934, to the late Lorena and Eric Eliason. He graduated from Pasadena High School in 1952. After serving proudly in the United States Marine Corp, he received his degree from the University of Houston in 1962. Bob's working career was varied until he found his love of computers, becoming an early member of the Houston Area League of PC users. Always generous with his time and talents, he lent his expertise to family and friends. His retirement as a computer specialist from the Internal Revenue Service in 1994 only gave him more time to play with his digital gadgets.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, daughters Karen Strawder, Sharon Nelson and husband Ronny, Lynda Jacobson and husband Jake, and Brenda Eliason, their mother Tina Pereboom, step-daughter Kimberely Wiggins, step-son David Wiggins and wife Liz, sister Margot Baglen and husband Don, brother Ross Eliason and wife Linda, sister Susie Bartlett and husband Jeff, sister Eva Scales and husband Gary, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Donations in his memory can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Houston Food Bank.
