Thomas McMahon

Thomas Michael (Mike) McMahon, (aka "The Great One"), born November 1, 1938 in Binghamton, NY passed away November 17, 2012 after a long and valiant battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Judith, daughters Christiana, Heather Brittain, Caroline and Michaela, son-in-law, David Brittian, grandson Michael Brittain and 7 siblings. He is preceeded in death by parents Thomas J. and Vivian McMahon, Sister Mary Louise, and Brother Edward Joseph.
He graduated from Tenafly High School, Tenafly, NJ., attended Fairleigh Dickenson and Miami Universities. Mike, a lifetime member of the Safari Club, was an outstanding outdoorsman, travelling to Africa, Canada and Alaska. On May 26, 1994 he shot a world record Boone and Crockett Gold Award 11'4" Alaskan Brown Bear at the Alaskan Peninsula, Chiknik Lake Alaska. Mr. McMahon, a successful executive in the oil and gas industry, was founder and president of Adobe Energy in Houston, TX. Mike was a very charismatic, caring person, loyal friend, loving husband and father. He was always ready to help anyone in need.
A memorial service is not scheduled at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life in the Woodlands, Tx. at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his name to:
